Trying’ to Quit Smoking isn’t Good Enough

‘Try’ could be a terribly weak word. Just raise any coach or personal trainer. They’ll both tell you that you just won’t get very so much by just trying. You should commit. Without a totally committed level of thinking, it becomes terribly difficult to achieve success. The same goes for quitting smoking.
Whether it is using the ‘strive’ word when convincing yourself to quit or when talking to your friends and family, I even have to warn you, don’t do it. You're doing yourself a disservice and doubtless setting yourself up for failure.



Would like an example? How concerning this. My wife includes a fear of roller coasters and that i don’t grasp where it came from. She’s not petrified of heights and not extremely frightened of speed, so why this is, I still haven’t figured it out. And the funny factor is she will’t tell me why either.
And during the rare times my son and I actually have been persuasive enough to induce her into the line, it is forever tempered with ‘I’ll strive’. This provides her the opportunity to reneg on her provide without an excessive amount of teasing. And she continually does.



Therefore how does she get out of it and still feel sensible about herself? Because she solely said she would ‘strive’ which doesn’t really count. The same goes when you're the trail to becoming a non-smoker. By only attempting, you are leaving yourself an simple exit down the road. And this isn’t something you wish to try and do.



I encourage you to hunt out any smoker who has failed in their quest to quit and in virtually all of the cases they can say these precise words to you – I tried! And maybe they might even say that they soon plan to ‘try’ once more.
