Vandoren Traditional Alto Clarinet Reeds are recognizable by a straight line to delineate the limit of the area of bark. I use vandoren mouthpieces on clarinet and sop, and thier reeds on all of my horns. I dont think thier power stops just at clarinets. However, the vandoren clarinet reeds aren't as popular as the vandoren sax reeds. I would say most of thier clarinet marketplace power is in mouthpieces and ligatures.
